BLGY @ TASA/TASB 2016

BLGY is headed to Houston! The TASA/TASB Convention – the premier annual conference for Texas school board members and administrators – will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center from Friday, September 23rd to Sunday, September 25th. If you’re attending the convention, stop by the BLGY booth (#216) to chat with our principals about architectural design’s influence on 21st Century Learning Environments and enter to win some great prizes.

On Saturday, Sept. 24th, at 1:30pm in Room 332F, BLGY will present a session, entitled: “School Prototype Design: Ideas Worth Repeating.” Moderated by Benny Hawkins, President and CEO of BLGY, guest panelists will include Tim Strucely, Director, Facilities and Construction at Round Rock ISD; and Scott German, Senior Project Manager at Balfour Beatty Construction.

Session Abstract: Today’s prototype school designs are not the cookie-cutter structures of old, but reflect the unique personality and needs of a school’s population, community, environment and technology requirements. Hear how one school district is using prototype design to save time and money while quickly adapting to capacity, technology, and 21st Century Learning changes. This session will compare prototype and custom design approaches to help you determine which option may be best for your school district.

We would love to have you participate during the Q&A session following the presentation, but if you would prefer a one-on-one meeting with our firm’s principals, please email Glynnis Woolridge, BLGY Marketing Manager, at gwoolridge@blgy.com.

Looking forward to seeing you in Houston!
