A LEED-Accredited professional, Lamour Hudson has more than 15 years of architectural firm experience specializing in design and managing, with an emphasis on learning and leveraging the latest software technologies. Throughout his career, his work has infused life into a variety of spaces—churches, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, car dealerships and fire stations. In each type of project, he uses renderings and other appropriate media to assist clients with telling their stories and bringing their vision to life. From initial design through construction, Mr. Hudson enjoys working on all project phases. He coordinates between all involved focusing on developing functional spaces that are kind to the environment and people. Details matter! Mr. Hudson is a native of New York City. Before settling in Texas, he worked in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to his work responsibilities, Mr. Hudson mentors’ young professionals and participates in the local community.

1. How did you choose Architecture as your career path?
I was always drawing, and one day I while drawing some buildings in my neighborhood, a teacher suggested I should be an architect.
2. What project(s) in your professional portfolio are you most proud of?
The Greater Mount Zion Church, because of what it meant to its community, and 2306 Howard Lane, because it was my first design.
3. To keep your creative juices flowing, what are your favorite activities away from work?
I like to listen to music a lot and stay current with current events. I enjoy working out and planting on my balcony.
