Mr. Brown’s entire professional career has been spent in some facet of the architecture and construction industry. Prior to joining BLGY, he worked as an architectural engineer, construction project manager and as a carpenter. His professional responsibilities at the firm include project management, design, project scheduling, cost estimation and contract administration.
His award-winning work includes a ‘Preservation Merit Award’ from the Heritage Society of Austin, and an ‘Excellence in Construction Award’ from the Association of Builders and Contractors for the Austin Community College (Building 3000 at Rio Grande Campus) adaptive reuse project; and an ‘Outstanding Construction Award for Design-Build Projects Under $10 Million’ from the Association of General Contractors for his Kyle City Hall project.
