WILCO JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER
Owner | Williamson County
Location | Georgetown, TX
BLGY Architecture, in partnership with Treanor Architects, were selected for the expansion of the Williamson County, Texas Juvenile Justice Center. The vision initially focused on adding housing and support spaces to accommodate a growing community but evolved to include a large Court room and more extensive renovation of the existing. The county desired a facility that would support the long term needs of the youth and families of Williamson County and be a leader for positive change in the state of Texas and beyond. Their vision aspires to “ignite the essential spark” in all youth, staff, families, and their community partners.
…on the 90-million-dollar expansion and remodel of our Juvenile Justice Center, BLGY developed a comprehensive progress schedule allowing people in my organization to plan and feel comfortable in understanding each step of the way. They work closely and are attentive through the process.
Scott Matthew, Executive Director, Williamson County Juvenile Services
